Team Green Wins the PowerOil Big Brother Naija 2026 Sponsored Task
An elevator pitch, a relay, a tug of war and a game of charades decide the winning team in a tightly contested sponsored task.
The Show Ya Sef housemates trade wager preparations for competition as Big Brother Naija Season 11 rolls out a four round PowerOil sponsored task, with Team Green ultimately claiming the overall win after a closely fought battle against Team Yellow.
HoH Abi opens proceedings by gathering the housemates in the lounge to brief them on the task, before splitting the house into two teams and handing out gear for the challenge ahead. Team Green is made up of Chimsom Chuka, Bells, Sultex, Nomy, Tram, Gerard, Goddessa, Cassi, Temi Nkem and Bluethopia, while Team Yellow includes Abi, Araga, Oyin, Flora, Ricky, Sheba, Keivo, Aikou, Barry and Yusuf. Each team is given time to prepare before Biggie leads them into the arena for the first round.
The opening challenge asks each team to deliver an elevator pitch. Team Green goes first, followed by Team Yellow, but the round comes down to a technicality. Since the challenge required only one representative per team and Team Green fields more than one player, Team Yellow is awarded the ten points for the round.
Team Green Fights Back
Team Green responds strongly in the second round, a relay and spelling challenge, securing fifteen points for the win. Team Yellow, meanwhile, has five points deducted after making an error during their attempt, narrowing the gap between the two sides.
The third challenge brings a physical test in the form of a tug of war, with Bluethopia and Cassi representing Team Green against Oyin and Yusuf for Team Yellow. The round ends in a draw after both teams are found to have broken the rules during the contest.
The task concludes with a power charade round, where Team Yellow breaks the rules twice, though Ricky manages to complete an answer for his team, still earning them ten points. Team Green breaks the rules only once during the round and finishes with seventeen points, enough to secure the overall win of the PowerOil task.
With the final scores confirmed, Team Green, made up of Chimsom Chuka, Bells, Sultex, Nomy, Tram, Gerard, Goddessa, Cassi, Temi Nkem and Bluethopia, celebrates their victory back in the house, spending the rest of the evening analysing the challenges and enjoying their win before turning their attention to preparations for the week’s wager task.
