Team Creamy Wins Big Brother Naija Checkers Custard Task

A custard recipe pitch seals the win for Team Creamy after four rounds of balance, speed and creativity challenges.

The Big Brother Naija Season 11 house takes on a sweet new sponsored challenge as the Checkers Custard task brings the housemates together across four rounds of competition, with Team Creamy ultimately walking away with the win.

The teams are selected through a lucky dip, with Team Creamy, wearing blue, made up of Aikou, Araga, Barry, Bells, Bluethopia, Flora and Keivo. Team Tasty, in red, consists of Abi, Chimsom Chuka, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Yusuf. HoH Tram takes on the role of Games Master for the competition, with the added twist that he will join whichever team ends up winning by the end of the task.

The competition opens with two challenges, Checkers Balance and Drop, followed by the Checkers Sharp Sharp Challenge, testing the teams’ coordination and speed across both rounds.

The third game, Checkers Find Your Comfort, opens with Team Tasty taking their turn first. After some confusion over the rules leads to a handful of questions from the team, Tram rereads the brief before the round continues.

The Custard Spinoff and Final Result

The final challenge, the Checkers Custard Spinoff, asks each team to get creative. With fifteen minutes on the clock, both teams must invent an original custard recipe and present it to Biggie, complete with a name, an explanation of their inspiration, a breakdown of their toppings and mystery ingredients, and a final pitch on why their creation deserves to win.

Back in the house, reactions to the presentations are mixed. Yusuf praises Aikou’s pitch for Team Creamy, while Abi and Sheba point out mistakes they noticed in the same team’s performance. In the garden, Araga, Bluethopia and Chimsom Chuka continue reviewing the task, with Chimsom Chuka questioning whether Team Creamy may have had an advantage during the third game, especially after Araga injured his elbow mid competition. Bluethopia defends her team but admits they occasionally got too caught up in small details, recalling a moment where Keivo insisted on washing cups simply because they looked dirty.

When the final scores are tallied, Tram announces that Team Creamy has secured the win with a total of 140 points. Chimsom Chuka, on the losing side, is later spotted sitting alone in the garden, visibly disappointed by the result as the house moves on to prepare for the evening’s Saturday night link up.
