Team Aquafina Refresh Wins Big Brother Naija Aquafina Task
A puzzle challenge and word game give way to tears and heartfelt letters as housemates open up about the people they miss most.
The Big Brother Naija Season 11 house experiences one of its most emotional tasks of the season yet, as the Aquafina sponsored Padi of Life challenge asks housemates to reflect on the people who matter most to them outside the house.
The housemates are called into the arena, visibly excited by the setup, and split into three teams of five along with one team of four. The task opens with The Padi Guide, a puzzle challenge, before moving into Padi Word Chain, a round that requires full team participation to succeed.
As the task unfolds, the real heart of the challenge emerges. Housemates begin writing and reading letters of appreciation to people who matter deeply to them, identifying which of their fellow housemates reminds them most of that person. Tram writes about his partner Olivia, saying Abi reminds him of her nurturing nature, while Bluethopia writes about a close friend and names Barry, crediting him for his support during arena games and for comforting her after Neche and Kamsy’s exits.
Yusuf speaks about his best friend and chooses Araga, while Sheba writes about her sister and selects Goddessa. Barry’s letter is dedicated to his best friend Deborah, with Bluethopia named as the housemate who reminds him of her. Flora writes about her mother and picks Oyin, describing her as her gist mate and someone who has remained loyal throughout their time in the house.
More Bonds Take Centre Stage
The emotional presentations continue as Araga writes about his sister and chooses Temi Nkem, prompting her to run over and hug him with excitement. Oyin follows with a letter about her own sister, selecting Flora as her ride or die. Chimsom Chuka becomes visibly emotional while reading his letter to his friend Uche, naming Goddessa as the housemate who reminds him most of that bond.
Bells credits Abi with making her first week in the house more bearable, while Sultex names Oyin for the motivation she has provided during his time in the house. Goddessa writes about her sister and selects Temi Nkem, who celebrates the moment with smiles and a round of push ups. Ricky writes about his ex girlfriend and chooses Bells, adding that he could see the two of them staying friends after the show ends.
Not every housemate finds a match. Nomy’s letter is about her friend Jennifer, but she reveals that no one currently in the house reminds her of that friendship, a moment that quickly becomes a talking point among the other housemates once the task wraps up.
Once all the letters have been read, Biggie praises the housemates for their honesty and announces the final scores. Team Aquafina Refresh, made up of Chimsom Chuka, Sheba, Aikou, Oyin and Keivo, is declared the winning team, closing out one of the most reflective and emotional tasks of the season.
