Ricky and Tram Refuse to Present as the House Loses the Wager

Weeks of rehearsal and preparation come crashing down in the Big Brother Naija Season 11 house, as Ricky and Tram unexpectedly refuse to take part in the wager presentation, leaving their fellow housemates stunned and ultimately costing the entire house the win.

The day begins on a lighter note, with housemates enjoying an impromptu dance session to music played into the house before diving into hours of costume fittings, script rehearsals and final preparations. Yusuf even grabs a drum at one point to rally the house into the main lounge for one last rehearsal, with Goddessa stepping into the role of narrator for the presentation.

By evening, the housemates gather in the arena, ready to present their original story inspired by the animal kingdom. Just as the performance is about to begin, drama erupts when Ricky and Tram announce they will not be taking part, a decision that catches the rest of the house completely off guard. The remaining housemates decide not to plead with the pair to reconsider and proceed with the presentation as planned. Once the performance wraps, Gerard is asked to review the effort, describing it as great overall, though hectic to pull together under the circumstances.

Biggie’s Verdict

Following the presentation, Biggie questions Ricky and Tram directly about their decision to sit out, and both point to disagreements over their assigned roles as the reason. Biggie counsels the pair for failing to follow his instructions before delivering his final verdict, the house has officially lost the wager, with Ricky and Tram held directly responsible for the outcome. Biggie also issues a broader warning to the entire house over what he describes as a disregard for his instructions and a lack of respect toward him.

The housemates are ushered out of the arena by a Ninja as Biggie stops speaking to the house entirely. Back inside, HoH Chimsom Chuka, Sheba, Goddessa and others spend time analysing what went wrong, dissecting both the presentation itself and Ricky and Tram’s decision to withdraw at the last moment.

Despite the tension, the house is soon called to a pool party, where housemates make the best of the situation, dancing and enjoying the evening even with Biggie still refusing to speak to them.
