Oyin and Flora Accused of Sabotaging the Wager Out of Revenge

Tension over house cooperation reaches a new level in the Big Brother Naija Season 11 house, as accusations fly that Oyin and Flora are deliberately sabotaging this week’s wager as a form of payback for how they were treated during a previous Head of House reign.

Bells is among the first to voice her frustration, telling Biggie during her diary session that the house’s ongoing division has made the wager difficult to manage. She explains that when the circus themed brief was first announced, she was genuinely excited and eager to assign roles, only for Oyin, Flora and Tram to show little interest, a response that left her steadily losing motivation for the task herself.

Ricky offers a similar read on the situation, suggesting that many housemates are holding back their effort this week because they feel Tram was excluded from previous wagers. He admits he personally wants to be seen as more involved this time, having grown tired of being viewed as nonchalant, and says that if he were in Tram’s position as HoH, he suspects the house would treat him with the same resistance.

Oyin’s own diary session confirms exactly what the others suspected. She tells Biggie she believes Abi, Bluethopia and Temi Nkem have been coming for her, specifically pointing to Abi’s lack of support for her wager the previous week as motivation to return the favour. She openly admits that even before Tram became HoH, she had already decided not to participate in the wager as a way of making things difficult for the group, describing it plainly as an act of revenge. She also expresses frustration with Bells, once a close friend, saying she is tired of the back and forth between them. Biggie responds with a simple piece of advice, reminding her that winning together as a team will always serve her better than chasing revenge.

Aikou adds further context to the growing divide during his own diary session, expressing concern that people are actively trying to sabotage the wager and admitting it is difficult to watch the house split apart the way it has. He points out the irony in the situation, recalling that Oyin and Flora were previously labelled as troublemakers during Abi’s HoH reign, only for the same group now accusing them to be repeating that exact behaviour themselves.

With resentment clearly running in more than one direction, the house’s ability to pull together for this week’s circus themed wager remains very much in question heading into presentation night.
