Housemates Get Creative Painting Each Other’s Bodies for Topsy Turvy Week
From lion roars to cow impressions, the house leans fully into its animal identities ahead of the week's wager presentation.
The Big Brother Naija Season 11 house embraces its playful side on Day 30, as housemates lean fully into this week’s Topsy Turvy theme by painting each other’s bodies according to individually assigned animal identity cards, all while practising their best animal sounds along the way.
The day begins quietly, with housemates completing their usual morning workout before Chimsom Chuka speaks with Sheba about house cleaning ahead of wager preparations. Several housemates, including Tram, Bluethopia, Goddessa, Araga and Yusuf, take the opportunity to nap after the workout, before Chimsom Chuka wakes the house with an unconventional method, using the phrase your jungle is awake to rouse housemates and kick off the day’s painting activities.
Keivo takes on the role of house artist for much of the morning, starting with Sheba, who is assigned a lion, prompting the two of them to break into roaring sounds as he works. He then moves on to paint Bluethopia as a cow, before later helping paint Flora’s face, a process that leaves her unable to contain her laughter throughout. Sultex embraces his own animal identity with enthusiastic parrot sounds as he prepares to paint himself, while Goddessa and Araga take turns painting each other’s faces elsewhere in the house.
Ricky spends part of the morning painting Oyin, and the two drift into a conversation about their future plans, with Ricky revealing that he had originally intended to move to Canada before deciding to apply for Big Brother Naija instead. He shares that he now hopes to stay in Lagos for at least two years, saying he feels a strong sense of community and belonging there.
Elsewhere, lighter moments continue to unfold. Yusuf teases Bells as she gets painted, and Keivo attempts to get Yusuf to roar along with him while working on his paint, though Yusuf declines to play along. The playful atmosphere carries the house through the morning before attention gradually shifts toward the day’s diary sessions and preparations for the upcoming Aquafina task.
By early evening, the housemates begin removing their animal themed paint ahead of a new challenge, closing out a day defined by creativity, laughter and a rare break from the tension that has followed the house through recent weeks of eviction pressure and shifting alliances.
