Head of House Chimsom Chuka claims victory in the first Friday night Arena games of Big Brother Naija Season 11, with Sultex and Barry also putting up strong performances.
The Big Brother Naija Season 11 house lit up on Day 5 as Biggie introduced the season’s first Friday night Arena games, a new weekly competition designed to test the housemates’ cognitive and physical abilities.
After receiving their customised jerseys, the housemates were welcomed into the Arena where Biggie laid out the format. Every Friday for the rest of the season, housemates will battle it out for weekly rewards, with an overall champion to be crowned once the season ends.
Temi Nkem was first to attempt the four rounds of challenges but was buzzed out after ten minutes, with Aikou also failing to finish in time. Oyin then set an early benchmark of seven minutes and forty nine seconds, only for Keivo, Nomy, Araga, Neche and Mercedes to beat her time. Barry raised the bar significantly, finishing in an impressive two minutes and twenty three seconds.
Sultex then stole the spotlight with a record breaking run of two minutes and nine seconds, putting himself firmly in contention for the win.
In the end, it was Head of House Chimsom Chuka who topped the leaderboard, claiming victory as the very first Friday night Arena games champion of Big Brother Naija Season 11.
