The Diary Room saw plenty of action on Day 3 of Big Brother Naija Season 11, with housemates opening up about first impressions, crushes, and the fallout from an overnight fight between Ricky and Nomy that had already spread through the house by morning.

Kamsy and Mercedes Open Up

Kamsy was first into the Diary Room, where she was asked which housemate had made the strongest impression on her and what she thought of The Gambit twist. She named Chimsom Chuka as the housemate who impressed her most, though she admitted disappointment that he’d become less playful since stepping into the HOH role. She also revealed who she has a crush on.

Mercedes followed with her own confession — she’s drawn to Aikou’s mind, singling out his way of thinking as what caught her attention.

Keivo and Neche’s Honest Takes

Keivo’s diary session named Chimsom Chuka as his own strongest first impression too, and he admitted he was pleasantly surprised by how much the house enjoyed his cooking the night before.

Neche used her diary session to address her growing issues with Nomy directly, saying she could no longer consider her a friend — a comment that hinted at deeper tension building beneath the surface.

The Ricky-Nomy Fight, Explained

The overnight fight between Nomy and Ricky carried into the Diary Room, with both housemates given the chance to explain their side to Biggie. When Biggie asked Nomy directly whether Ricky was guilty of disrupting her sleep, she gave her account of what happened. Ricky, in his own session, said he felt the whole issue had been unnecessary.

Ricky also named Yusuf as the housemate who’s made the biggest impression on him so far, citing their shared interest in filmmaking. Nomy, for her part, said she’s drawn to Temi Nkem’s good energy.

Tension Boils Over Again at Night

The fallout from the fight didn’t stay contained to the Diary Room. Later in the evening, Neche and Ricky clashed as well, with Neche admitting she felt disrespected and questioning whether Ricky’s emotional intelligence matched the connection she thought they had. Nomy’s name resurfaced during the exchange, suggesting the earlier fight was still very much unresolved.

Hoping to smooth things over, Neche and Nomy later retreated to the bedroom for a private conversation — though it reportedly turned one-sided, with Neche doing most of the talking and Nomy barely getting a word in. Goddessa, watching from nearby, asked what the actual disagreement was even about, while Tram took in the entire scene quietly from the bed.
