Big Brother Naija 2026 Housemates Win Week 8 Wager
Strong comic timing and a clever Nigerian twist on a classic story finally earn the house a much needed wager win.
Weeks after HoH Tram first announced the theme, the Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemates finally step into the arena to present their long awaited Nigerian adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, and this time, their hard work pays off with a win.
The day begins with final rehearsals under new HoH Barry, who calls the housemates together in the lounge to run through their scenes one more time before the big presentation. Yusuf takes charge of positioning the cast, working through the play with Barry, Chimsom Chuka, Flora, Keivo, Oyin and Tram as they iron out the last details of their performance.
Despite a morning filled with personal drama, including a tense confrontation between Oyin and Yusuf and continued tension between Bells and Yusuf following their breakup, the housemates regroup by early evening and head back into the arena for one final rehearsal, tightening their performances ahead of presentation time.
By nightfall, dressed and ready, the housemates finally take to the stage to showcase their Nigerian spin on the classic Wonderland story. The performance clearly lands well, with Barry praising the group’s comic timing once the show wraps, while Bluethopia credits the scriptwriters for successfully nailing the Nigerian twist woven throughout the story.
The hard work ultimately pays off, with the housemates securing the win for their wager, a welcome result after previous weeks of losses and internal disagreements over participation. The celebration carries straight into the night, with the housemates heading back to the house before transitioning into a well earned pool party, complete with Ricky manning the bar and Barry taking charge of the grill.
The win offers a much needed morale boost for the house, particularly under Barry’s leadership, following a tense stretch that included his controversial decision to save Aikou over Bluethopia during the week’s nominations. With the wager finally behind them, the house appears ready to enjoy a rare, celebratory night before the pressures of the season inevitably return.
